Agriculture is a fundamental productive process of strategic importance for the country. To develop it, it is necessary to create permanent support, emphasizing inter-sector cooperation and the creation of inter-institutional alliances.

The Fundación Polar contributes to the development of agriculture in Venezuela through actions that promote the creation of local agro-productive chains to improve the social and economical level of rural communities. It also stimulates the introduction and dissemination of sustainable production alternatives for small farmers, contributes to improve the level of agricultural educational in all its areas, and facilitates the systematization and dissemination of information for farmers, educators, professionals, students and the general public.
