Comprehensive management of the Caracas water supply
To execute the program by improving the comprehensive management of the water resource in the Caracas Metropolitan Area, which will make it possible to respond to the problems of excessive use of water by consumers and the gradual degradation of natural sources of supply by organizing a series of educational and communication activities within the formal and informal spheres of primary education.
Specific Objectives
- Caracas Metropolitan Area, in the management of the potable water service by means of formal and informal educational activities.
- To execute and consolidate a sustained advertising campaign in the media (cinema, radio and the press) to make the population aware of the value of water as a resource and the need for its rational use.
- To publish and distribute information and communication materials (inserts, flip charts, and guides) for formal and informal components of the program.
- To design a traveling exhibition on water as a resource to be shown in schools selected for the program.
- To execute and consolidate the activity entitled "Capable, Creative and Successful Educational Communities", in the ten schools selected, by providing them with training and support and through the informative-educational program on water.
- To consolidate strategic alliances that will make it possible to increase the effectiveness of the program, concentrate its efforts, and maximize its economic and technical resources.
- To implement the methodology for measuring and evaluating the impacts generated by the program.
