Fundación Polar's editorial policy is designed to support the generation and spreading of new knowledge in areas that are fundamental for the social life of the Venezuelan people, by backing the training of human resources, strengthening positive sociocultural values, preserving our historical heritage, placing value on scientific and artistic activities, and identifying ways to improve the country's environment, agriculture and the Venezuelan's diet.

From time to time, its lines of action are directed at producing publications of an academic nature as a way of promoting innovation and creative activity in priority areas within its core spheres of action: agriculture, environment, science, culture, Food System economics, education and community development, generals, history of Venezuela, and health and social welfare.

Fundación Polar gives equal importance to the content and the graphic design of its publications, and the final product is possible thanks to close collaboration with people in academic, scientific, and technical-cultural circles and with talented Venezuelan designers and editors.
