Boats showed
- Here we also have a scale model of a 1.80 m long snapperboat. One of its sides has been left without the planks that normally form the hull and cover the ribs so that the visitor can see its internal structure. The ribbing and all the internal parts of the boat -the cold storage room for storing the fish, the space for the engine, and the cabin with the captain's quarters aft and the bunks for the crew- can all be seen quite clearly. There is an old sextant, made in England, that was used to measure the altitude of the sun with a given latitude. The visitor can also see two position lights and a number of different items used on board, including tackle, controls and a compass.
