This exhibition hall shows to the visitor the main features of Venezuela's fishing and maritime traditions, particularly those of Margarita Island.

In the center of the exhibition hall is an extraordinarily well-crafted replica of the Santa María and another of a 19th century Spanish ship similar to the San Pedro Alcántara, the ensign ship of General Morillo's armada that came to Venezuela to put down the independence movement and exploded to the southeast of Coche Island in April 1815.
